Welcome to Mighty Mentors
The Mighty Mentors program began in Vermont as a Girl Scout Gold Award project. The project is meant to reduce bullying, encourage healthy relationships, and will guide high school students to be better community members and leaders.

About the Project |
Significance |
The Girl Scout worked for over 80 hours developing the program. The project must make an everlasting effect on her local community and the world. The Girl Scout Gold Award is rarely achieved; about 6% of eligible Girl Scouts are able to fully complete the project of their choice. This project was chosen to affect the Vermont community and address bullying issues/support in elementary and high schools.
|
The Girl Scout Gold Award has been around since 1980. The Award is given to Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts who demonstrate leadership and make a change in their own community. The Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn, it follows the Silver Award given to Cadette Girl Scouts and the Bronze Award given to Junior Girl Scouts.
