Established in 2017The Arms-Open Mentors program was organized in spring 2017 and was implemented in schools in fall 2017-18 school year. The program began in Vermont as a Girl Scout Gold Award project.

Our GoalThe Arms-Open Mentors program was created in hopes of reducing peer-peer bullying in a small Vermont community. The AOM program envisions a community in which every youth experiences community support and a healthy one-on-one relationship, which in turn promotes individual resilience, decision making, and engages them in the community.
